Ukemi Lab: Ikkyo Feather Falls

This video introduces some solo and partner exercises to learn the „feather“ method of ikkyo ukemi (breakfalls). While this type of ukemi is not the solution for all situations and types of ikkyo training, it can be a safe, elegant, and impressive way to improve training without resisting nage’s technique.
